During the meeting, Jincharadze congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his work in Georgia

Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, held a courtesy meeting with Israel’s newly appointed ambassador to Georgia,Walid Abu-Haya, his press office announced on Thursday. 

During the meeting, Jincharadze congratulated the diplomat on his appointment and wished him success in his work in Georgia. He also briefed him on the activities and priorities of the Abkhazian government, as well as the situation in the occupied territories of Abkhazia, highlighting reported human rights violations.

The discussions focused on potential areas for future cooperation between the parties. Jincharadze also expressed gratitude to the Israeli government for its support of Georgia’s territorial integrity.
