Abkhazia Gov’t head attends Christmas liturgy in Tbilisi

Giorgi Jincharadze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Abkhazia, attended a Christmas liturgy at St. George’s Church in Ilori, Tbilisi, alongside Jemal Gamakharia, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Abkhazia, members of the Abkhazian government, and deputies of the Supreme Council.
The festive service was conducted by Father Levan Janashia, rector of St. George’s Church in Ilori.
“Christmas is a day of hope, love, and unity. On this day, we especially pray for the peace of Georgia, the country’s reunification, and the dignified future of every fellow citizen. We believe that through faith, unity, and patience, we can build a better future,” said Jincharadze.
The Georgian Orthodox Church celebrates the Nativity of Christ on January 7.
