United National Movement (UNM) leader Giorgi Vashadze said that during the meeting with foreign ambassadors key topic was alleged “manipulation” of the October 26 parliamentary election results in Georgia.

Vashadze stated that his party shared detailed concerns and evidence of widespread irregularities, including duplicate voting and inflated turnout in specific districts.

“Our partners understand the gravity of these concerns,” Vashadze commented, noting that the ambassadors listened closely and posed questions to gain clarity on the party’s claims.

He emphasized that their international partners have been vocal in expressing doubts about the election’s legitimacy, with many declining to endorse the preliminary results.

Vashadze stressed the importance of international feedback, expecting that these concerns would be conveyed to each ambassador’s respective government.
