Giorgi Vashadze, leader of the United National Movement, has declared that the newly inaugurated Mikheil Kavlashvili and the Georgian Dream party are illegitimate, emphasizing that only ex-President Salome Zourabichvili represents the true interests of the Georgian people.

Vashadze stated that the Georgian Dream has completely stepped outside the constitutional framework, leading the country into chaos, with Bidzina Ivanishvili as the author of this instability. He further criticized the ruling party for rejecting dialogue and negotiations on new elections.

“During this week, Salome Zourabichvili gave Ivanishvili and the self-proclaimed regime the opportunity to come to the table for negotiations and agree on new elections, but they refused to negotiate. As a result, they rejected the peaceful resolution of this critical situation,” Vashadze noted.

He concluded by asserting that the Georgian people have the right to clearly state that Kavlashvili is illegitimate, and so is the Georgian Dream party. “Only Salome Zourabichvili represents our interests,” he emphasized.
