Georgian Education Minister, UNHCR representative highlight cooperation on education access and inclusion

Georgian Education Minister Givi Mikanadze and UNHCR Representative in the country Anna Rich on Wednesday praised their long-standing cooperation and highlighted ongoing projects to expand access to education and strengthen inclusive education.

The Ministry’s press office said Mikanadze congratulated Rich on the start of her mission in Georgia and wished her success in her future work.

The body added particular attention was paid to strengthening the inclusive education system and ensuring equal opportunities for learning and development for every child.

At the end of the meeting, the sides expressed readiness to further deepen their partnership and implement new joint initiatives.
