Georgian and Armenian Education Ministers discuss future cooperation in Tbilisi

Georgia’s Minister of Education, Science, and Youth, Givi Mikanadze, hosted Armenia’s Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan, in Tbilisi during an introductory meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral ties.

According to the ministry’s press service, the two sides discussed ongoing cooperation between Georgia and Armenia in the fields of education, science, and youth, and explored opportunities for implementing joint educational initiatives.

Minister Mikanadze briefed his Armenian counterpart on recent developments and upcoming reforms across all levels of Georgia’s education system. The discussion also touched upon the implementation of joint youth camps, enhancing cooperation between Georgian and Armenian universities, and fostering collaboration in scientific research.

Highlighting the productive partnership between the two nations, Mikanadze emphasized the importance of sharing experiences and best practices when planning future projects in education, science, and youth development.
