Ruling Georgian Dream MP Givi Mikanadze addressed a recent altercation in Khobi, where Vitali Korshia, head of the opposition United National Movement (UNM) in Khobi, allegedly struck Natia Gabisonia, a Georgian Dream coordinator.

In a briefing at the party’s central office, Mikanadze stated, “We want to address the incident in Khobi. Vitali Korshia, chairman of UNM’s Khobi organization, visited Khobi’s No. 1 polling station, where he had a dispute with Natia Gabisonia, our party’s coordinator. During the argument, Korshia struck Gabisonia in the face, and the incident took place inside a minibus stationed near the polling site.”

Mikanadze reported that police responded promptly, with a report filed to emergency services. The MP said authorities are currently investigating, and Georgian Dream will be closely monitoring the case as it progresses.
