Gocha Javakhishvili appointed Georgia’s ambassador to France

Diplomat Gocha Javakhishvili was appointed as the Ambassador Plenipotentiary of Georgia to France, the foreign ministry confirmed on Wednesday.

 

Javakhishvili will replace Tea Katukia to the role. 

 

Katukia left the position a few months ago.

 

She claimed that the ministry had explained to her that the expectation to leave the position of the ambassador represented only the Prime Minister’s wish.
