Judge Nino Gergauli of the Gori District Court has granted a request from International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), instructing the District Election Commission to recount the void ballots from 15 precincts.

According to a Fair Elections representative, discrepancies were found between the number of void ballots listed in the preliminary results and those in the summary protocols for 15 precincts in Gori.

ISFED filed a complaint in Gori seeking the annulment of results from 69 precincts and from 26 precincts in Kaspi. The NGO argues that specific evidence points to violations of ballot secrecy, as well as incidents of voter pressure and bribery during the election process.
