The Georgian government will allocate about 30 million GEL annually to fund the treatment of children with cancer in leading clinics of Turkey, Israel and Spain in the case of necessity, along with domestic hospitals.
High-tech clinics with modern standards and international accreditation have already been selected as service providers abroad, based on preliminary market research, where the full range of services is combined in one space, the government administration said.
“Within the project, patients will have the opportunity to receive high-quality, high-tech medical services, including proton therapy, which is the latest achievement in modern medicine for the treatment of certain types of solid tumors”, the press office noted.
