A delegation from Hungary’s largest youth organization, Fidelitas, is paying an official visit to Tbilisi from June 16 to 19, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral youth cooperation.
The visit, led by Fidelitas President Mohácsy István, began with a meeting at the central office of the ruling Georgian Dream party, where a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the youth wings of the two parties. According to Guram Okropiridze, Chairman of the Tbilisi City Assembly’s Sports and Youth Affairs Commission, the memorandum outlines several joint projects that will soon be implemented.
“This is an important visit that will contribute to the deepening of mutual cooperation in the short term,” Okropiridze pledged. “Specific projects have already been planned within the framework of the memorandum, which we will implement jointly.”
The Fidelitas delegation is also scheduled to hold meetings at the Parliament of Georgia and the Tbilisi City Assembly, further reinforcing political and cultural ties between the two countries’ younger generations.
