Two parallel marches are set to take place in Tbilisi today, as protesters demand explanations from authorities over alleged poisoning of participants during the 2024 demonstrations. Activists are also calling for an international investigation. Both marches will converge at Rustaveli Avenue in front of the Parliament.

The day’s protests will begin from two separate locations. One group of activists will gather outside the Government Administration at 6:00 p.m., before marching along Rustaveli Avenue toward the Parliament.

A second group will assemble at 7:00 p.m. near the Philharmonic and will also proceed on a march in the direction of Rustaveli Avenue.

Both groups are expected to unite in front of the Parliament, where demonstrators will continue demanding the identification of those responsible and the public release of evidence, following a BBC report suggesting that law enforcement may have used chemical agents dating back to World War One to disperse protesters.
