Hacker collective Anonymous declares cyber war against Russia

Hacker collective Anonymous has declared a cyber war against Russia for its recent move to invade Ukraine, the hackers have tweeted. 

 

They have already disabled several Russian government websites including the government-controlled “Russia Today” news service.

 

They also attacked the websites of the Kremlin, the Russian government and the Russian defense ministry. 

 

Reuters says that the government of Ukraine has also asked volunteers from the country’s hacker underground to help protect critical infrastructure and conduct cyber spying missions against Russian troops.
