Heavy rain floods streets, basements in coastal city of Poti

Heavy rain has flooded streets both in the central part and outskirts of Georgia’s coastal city of Poti in western Georgia starting yesterday. 

 

The building basements have also been flooded. 

 

Local officials say that the city’s drainage system was unable to prevent flooding because of the large amount of water.

 

Storm is also raging on the Black Sea now.
