Helicopter crashes near kindergarten in Kyiv province

A helicopter crashed on the territory of a kindergarten in Brovar, Kyiv oblast, and a fire broke out on the spot, leaving several injured, local officials said on Wednesday. 

“A helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and a residential building in the city of Brovar. At the time of the incident, children and employees of the institution were in the kindergarten. At the moment, everyone has been evacuated. There are injured people,” said the officials. 

Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, with hostilities still in progress.
