Helicopter deployed in avalanche search operation in Bakuriani

A helicopter will be deployed in the search operation for an individual trapped in an avalanche in Bakuriani after a significant amount of snow cascaded down from a mountain slope, prompting a response from the Georgian Emergency Management Service. 

Rescuers and personnel from relevant units have been mobilized in Bakuriani to assist in the rescue efforts. Rescue drones and responders from the agency are now participating in the search and rescue operation.

The Border Police helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, dispatched from Tbilisi along with an additional rescue team, has joined the operation, enhancing the search capabilities in the affected area, as highlighted by the Emergency Management Service.
