The house of Luka Maisuradze, a Georgian judoka who claimed gold in the world championship this month, has been robbed in the country’s eastern Khashuri municipality, Khashuri sport local media outlet said on Monday. 

 

The house was robbed when Maisuradze and his family were celebrating his win in a restaurant, according to reports, with money and expensive items stolen. 

 

Maisuradze also holds the title of an European champion.
