Husband of a 47-year-old Georgian woman Nato Pkhakadze from western Kutaisi city, who died last of coronavirus after giving birth to twins, is requesting financial support from the public to use his deceased wife’s frozen egg and have a child via surrogate.

The couple had been expecting a child for 10 years.

However, both children, who also contacted the virus through their mom, died shortly after the delivery.

The Pkhakadze family used artificial insemination and the clinic where the procedure was performed stored the woman’s egg.

The man needs at least 15,000 USD to have a child from his deceased wife.
