Japanese Embassy congratulates Shio III on enthronement as Georgian Patriarch

The Embassy of Japan in Georgia has congratulated Shio III on his enthronement as Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia.

The embassy expressed hope that the enthronement of the new Patriarch would bring prosperity to Georgia and its people.

“The Embassy of Japan warmly congratulates His Holiness and Beatitude Shio III on his enthronement as Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia,” the statement said.

The embassy also expressed its desire to further strengthen friendship and cooperation with Georgia during what it described as a new stage for the country.
