The suspects - identified as individuals born in 1993, 1980 and 1983 - were arrested in Kutaisi, western Georgia

Officers from the Imereti Police Department of Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have detained three citizens of Turkmenistan on charges related to the illegal purchase, possession and facilitation of distribution of large and особо large quantities of наркотics.

The suspects - identified as individuals born in 1993, 1980 and 1983 - were arrested in Kutaisi, western Georgia.

Law enforcement officers seized as evidence a particularly large quantity of the narcotic substance Alpha-PVP, packaged into 97 separate doses and allegedly intended for distribution. The substances were recovered during personal searches and from locations indicated by the detainees.

The crimes carry penalties of up to 20 years’ imprisonment or life in prison.
