Since the beginning of the day, a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has died in the Donbas as a result of an explosion on a grenade, two more soldiers have been wounded, the press center of the Joint Forces Operation said.
“As of 7:00 am, April 13, the Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire 3 times, of which 1 shelling of the positions of the Ukrainian defenders and 2 of the enemy UAV crossing the demarcation line … One soldier was injured incompatible with life. military personnel from the combined forces were injured, "- reported on the JFO page on Facebook.
It is noted that the injured fighters were promptly provided with medical assistance and taken to a military hospital.
So, not far from the village of Yuzhnoye, the enemy opened fire from 82-caliber mortars.
The headquarters stressed that in the area of ​​the settlement of Mayorskoye, the enemy UAVs, crossing the contact line, dropped grenades at the positions of Ukrainian units, as a result of which one soldier was injured incompatible with life.
"The command expresses sincere and deep condolences to the family and friends of the deceased defender," the headquarters said.
The headquarters also reported an increase in the number of shelling over the past day.
"Over the past day, on April 12, in the area of ​​the Joint Forces operation, the armed formations of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 17 times, among which 15 were shelling of the positions of Ukrainian defenders and 2 were remote mining with POM-2 mines," the message says.
