In Ukraine, 8 003 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day

In Ukraine, as of Friday morning, 8,003 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded, 4,244 people recovered, 146 patients died, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Maxim Stepanov said.

"8,003 new cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 were recorded in Ukraine as of February 26, 2021. In particular, 475 children and 312 health workers fell ill. Also, over the past day, 2,762 people were hospitalized; deaths – 146; recovered – 4,244 person, "- wrote Stepanov on his Facebook page on Friday morning.

The number of infected since the beginning of the pandemic on Friday morning was 1,333,844 people, 25,742 people died, 1,163,555 people recovered.
