Incumbent Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, who is running for the post again from the ruling Georgian Dream party, in the run-off tomorrow, says that he has always been and will remain a mayor of all residents of the capital city ‘no matter if they support me or not.’

He stated that the residents of the city should vote for justice, peace and stability in the run-offs.

Kaladze said that he was the only mayoral candidate in Tbilisi who was speaking only on business in the pre-election campaign.

Kaladze received 45.28 per cent of the vote in the first round of elections on October 1, while the opposition United National Movement runner up Nika Melia received 34.27 per cent of the vote.

The run-off was scheduled as Kaladze was unable to receive the mandatory 51%+1 vote.
