International partners, friends of Georgia are ready for facilitation and mediation, – said the French Ambassador to Georgia Diego Colas.

During a visit to Europe University, the ambassador commented to reporters on a possible visit by EU foreign ministers for mediation.

"I do not know exactly what the proposal is about and therefore I can not say anything specific about it. In my opinion, it is important that all political forces in Georgia unite and find a compromise.

International partners and friends of Georgia are ready for facilitation and mediation.

It is important that everyone finds a compromise between the submitted proposals that will be acceptable and comfortable for them and everyone. "I'm sure it 's possible," said Diego Colas.

He also commented on the OSCE / Odiri final report on the October 31 parliamentary elections in Georgia, which was published on 5 March.

"We generally support the report of the organizations. The report also talks about the evaluation and the identified shortcomings. "There is an opportunity and there are many ideas to find a compromise," said the French ambassador.
