Georgian Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Irakli Chikovani has travelled to Turkey to take part in the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia trilateral defence ministerial, held this year in the Turkish capital, Ankara.

According to Georgia’s Ministry of Defence, the meeting brings together the defence ministers of the three partner nations to discuss strategic cooperation, regional security, and plans for further partnership development within the trilateral framework.

During his visit, Chikovani is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with his Turkish and Azerbaijani counterparts - Yaşar Güler and Colonel General Zakir Hasanov - to review ongoing defence collaboration and future joint initiatives.
