Georgia’s parliamentary majority leader, Irakli Kirtskhalia, has warned that the global political order was undergoing significant change, with major international alliances facing what he described as “serious tests”.

Speaking on Imedi TV programme Imedi LIVE, Kirtskhalia said the evolving geopolitical environment presented growing challenges not only for Georgia but for the wider international system.

“The global political architecture is changing, and all alliances and unions are facing major challenges - questions of existence,” he said.

He added that Georgia “must navigate these developments carefully,” stressing the need to maintain peace and economic stability amid heightened global tensions.
