Georgia’s PM to attend Abu Dhabi Sustainability Summit

Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is to take part in the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) summit, hosted by the United Arab Emirates from 13 to 15 January.
Kobakhidze will speak at a thematic panel discussion focused on the Middle Corridor - an initiative aimed at linking Europe and Asia through energy cooperation and infrastructure, the Government press office said on Monday.
During the visit, the prime minister is also expected to hold meetings with representatives of major international investment companies.
The Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week summit, held under the overarching theme of cooperation, investment and innovation, brings together heads of state and government, business leaders, young innovators and policymakers from around the world.
Kobakhidze travelled to Abu Dhabi with a government delegation that includes Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Economy and Sustainable Development Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili, Environment and Agriculture Minister Davit Songulashvili, Justice Minister Paata Salia, and the head of the government administration, Levan Zhorzholiani.
