Georgia has been under the current government for 12 years, during which time the country has achieved significant progress in democratic development, human rights, and economic growth, stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze in an interview with an Azerbaijani television channel.

Kobakhidze emphasized that over the past four years, Georgia’s average economic growth rate was 9.8% annually, which is among the highest in the world. He credited this success to the government’s experienced team, strong management, and commitment to continued development.

“Indeed, we face very similar challenges to those of Azerbaijan. I listened attentively to President Aliyev’s speech at COP, where he discussed the challenges Azerbaijan faces, and they are practically identical to those that we, Georgia, are confronting. However, our team has accumulated valuable experience over the years. For the past 12 years, we have been in power, and during this period, we have brought about tremendous success for our country, both in terms of democratic development and in the fields of human rights and economic growth. Over the past four years, the average economic growth rate in our country has been 9.8% per year, which is one of the highest in the world. This is certainly due to the experience of our team, our excellent management, and our unwavering commitment to ensuring that our country continues to grow and develop in the future,” Kobakhidze said.
