Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has embarked on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to enhance bilateral cooperation and attract investment.

According to the Georgian government’s administration, Kobakhidze is set to meet with UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Minister of Tolerance Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan.

As part of the visit, a memorandum of cooperation will be signed with EMAAR, one of the UAE’s leading development companies. The agreement is expected to result in multi-billion-dollar investments in Georgia, boosting its economy and infrastructure.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will hold discussions with Abu Dhabi’s state investment company and Abu Dhabi Ports Group, a key player in developing the Middle Corridor. The company is already involved in the Tbilisi Dry Port project, set for completion in 2025, and plans to expand collaboration on strategic, logistical, and transportation projects.

Prime Minister Kobakhidze is accompanied by a high-level delegation, including First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy Levan Davitashvili, Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rizhvadze, and Chief of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
