Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told Parliament during an interpellation hearing that the government's planned education reform will not create any difficulties for international academic exchange programs.

According to Kobakhidze, concerns that the reform might limit students’ access to exchange opportunities are unfounded. He emphasized that improving the quality of higher education in Georgia will, in fact, expand students’ chances to participate in such programs.

“Under no circumstances will the education reform create problems for exchange programs,” Kobakhidze said. “On the contrary, once the higher education system is further refined, it will give students even better opportunities to be actively involved in international exchange programs.”
