Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday said the Government would strengthen the enforcement of the law, which he believes would further improve the country’s rankings in crime control effectiveness next year.

“The crime control effectiveness index reflects the real situation. I would like to remind you that this survey was conducted before we further tightened law enforcement. I believe that next year’s ranking will be even better for our country in all directions - whether in tackling corruption, drug-related crimes, organised crime, or politically motivated crimes,” Kobakhidze told reporters.
