Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has said the government intended to reset and strengthen its strategic partnership with the United States.
Speaking to the media, Kobakhidze highlighted the importance of parliamentary and diplomatic exchanges, including the invitation of a Georgian parliamentary delegation to the US by Republican congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna.
“We continue to patiently await a reset of our relations. We remain optimistic, and that optimism is reinforced by previous meetings, including discussions during the Milan Olympic Games opening between our President and Foreign Minister, and the US Vice President and Secretary of State. Such initiatives, including parliamentary formats, are very important. We want to reset the strategic partnership with the United States,” he said.
Kobakhidze described these engagements as key to strengthening bilateral ties and ensuring continued cooperation on political, economic, and security matters.
