Georgia has publicly expressed its readiness to “reset relations with the United States from a clean slate and with a clear roadmap,” Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told reporters on Saturday.

He added it was essential that concrete steps were taken to move this process forward.

“Regarding the Megobari Act it is important that the process has developed this way. We have made it clear publicly, we seek to reset relations with the United States from a clean slate and through a specific roadmap. Such relations will help strengthen this reset. The main thing now is to take practical steps in this direction. We will patiently await the position of the American side,” Kobakhidze stated.
