Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said the Government is prepared to share its experience in countering foreign influence with the Council of Europe, describing the country’s approach in this area as among the most advanced.

Speaking to journalists, Kobakhidze said Georgia has developed what he called one of the best practical experiences in addressing foreign influence.

He linked this to the country’s transparency legislation and subsequent laws, which he said were specifically designed to serve that purpose.

“The transparency law served exactly this goal, and the subsequent legislation also served this objective. Of course, we are ready to share our experience with the Council of Europe in the direction of combating foreign influence,” Kobakhidze said.
