Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday highlighted the importance of developing national production during the opening ceremony of the new Borjomi factory.

Speaking at the event, Kobakhidze emphasised the social impact of the project, noting that it will provide stable income for around 600 local employees and their families, while also contributing to the prosperity and development of the entire Borjomi municipality.

“Our Government’s priority is to fully support the development of such national production, which generates wealth domestically and reinforces Georgia’s reputation as a high-quality manufacturing country worldwide”, he said.

“I thank the company’s leadership, every investor, and employee for initiating and successfully implementing this nationally significant project. Congratulations on this important day, and I wish you success in promoting the Georgian brand on the global market,” Kobakhidze added.
