Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Friday said the “historic visit” of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to Georgia would give a new impetus to the partnership between the two countries.

In a post on social platform X, Kobakhidze highlighted that the visit marked the first time Georgia had hosted the UAE president in the capital city of Tbilisi.

"During the visit, we engaged in productive discussions across all strategic directions, exploring opportunities for closer cooperation and reinforcing our shared commitment to advancing bilateral ties. I am confident that through our joint efforts, this historic visit will further strengthen our partnership and serve the mutual interests of both nations”, he said.
