Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation between the two capitals, the Government Administration reported on Tuesday.

The meeting focused on the friendly ties between Georgia and Armenia and the successful collaboration in various sectors between Tbilisi and Yerevan, the Government press office said.

Mayor Avinyan highlighted the Armenian side’s interest in learning from Georgia’s experience in areas such as urban development and transport policy.

Kobakhidze confirmed Georgia’s readiness to further develop the strategic partnership and deepen cooperation across sectoral areas.
