PM Kobakhidze described Ukraine as a “friendly country”

PM Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said his meeting with Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the European Political Community summit was “friendly and interesting”, though he declined to discuss details.

Speaking about the talks, Kobakhidze said the meeting was held in a closed format and initiated by the Ukrainian side, with Georgia confirming its readiness to participate.

He said discussions focused on bilateral relations, without elaborating further due to the confidential nature of the meeting.

Kobakhidze described Ukraine as a “friendly country”, highlighting longstanding historical ties between the two nations and stressing the importance of preserving that relationship.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit, where regional leaders are holding discussions on security, cooperation and connectivity.
