Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is set to present Georgia’s “key national interests” at the 6th Summit of the European Political Union in Albania. Speaking to journalists ahead of the summit on Friday, Kobakhidze emphasized the importance of the event, which brings together leaders from across Europe.

"This is an important summit. Leaders of all countries from Europe will be represented. We will have the opportunity to deliver speeches in a round table format," Kobakhidze said.

The official highlighted that Georgia’s participation would focus on articulating the country’s “main messages”, which were “closely tied to its fundamental national interests.”

"Naturally, we will use this format to talk to the leaders of different countries," he added.
