Georgian Prime Minister to Address 79th UN General Assembly

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is set to deliver a speech at the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly on September 25. According to the Georgian government’s administration, Kobakhidze will visit the United States from September 22 to 26, participating in various high-level events in New York.

As part of his visit, Kobakhidze will attend the Summit of the Future, organized by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Namibian President Hage Geingob. Additionally, he is scheduled to meet with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.

The Prime Minister will also attend an official reception hosted by US President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden, held in honor of the heads of delegations participating in the UN General Assembly.
