Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has congratulated members of the country’s diplomatic corps on Georgian Diplomacy Day, praising their role in advancing national interests abroad.

In a statement on Monday, Kobakhidze highlighted the “special contribution” of Georgian diplomats to achieving the country’s foreign policy goals, safeguarding national interests on the international stage and strengthening state sovereignty.

“I congratulate each representative of Georgia’s diplomatic corps on Georgian Diplomacy Day,” he said. “The role of every diplomat is special in achieving Georgia’s foreign political objectives, protecting our national interests internationally, and reinforcing our sovereignty.”

PM Kobakhidze further expressed gratitude for their work and professionalism, wishing them continued success “in their responsible activities.”
