Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze stated that the ruling Georgian Dream party is more unified and stronger than ever, crediting honorary chairman Bidzina Ivanishvili’s leadership and founding principles for the party’s cohesion.
Speaking on Adjara Public Broadcaster, Kobakhidze emphasized the integrity and consolidation of state institutions, including law enforcement, and claimed that recent government changes have strengthened the team further.
“The team is united and strong like never before. It has a leader—Bidzina Ivanishvili. Everything is built around the ideas and principles he laid out from the start,” Kobakhidze said.
He added that Georgia’s opposition is now “practically dismantled,” which he sees as a reflection of the ruling party’s strength. He also highlighted rapid economic growth, claiming Georgia's GDP per capita has more than doubled since 2020 and is expected to exceed $10,000 by the end of the year.
“We are implementing ambitious reforms, and the opposition has been politically neutralized. Our focus remains on the effective development of the country and economy,” the PM said.
