Georgia will begin work on a new 10-year development strategy covering the period from 2026 to 2035, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced at a government meeting on Friday.

Kobakhidze said the document would set out clear goals, priorities and timelines to guide the country’s long-term progress across all sectors.

“We want this to be a concise document with very concrete objectives and deadlines for their implementation,” the prime minister noted, adding that more details will be released later.

He said the government aimed to complete the strategy in the near future and make it public once finalised.

“We will have a clear roadmap that will ensure consistent and stable development for our country over the coming years,” Kobakhidze added.
