Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday said that the Government’s key objective was to renew strategic partnership with the United States “from a clean slate” and based on a ‘clear roadmap’.

Kobakhidze highlighted the importance of the recent meeting between the presidents of Georgia and the US, calling it a positive step.

“It is very good that this meeting took place. As for the United States, we have a specific goal and task - to renew our strategic partnership with the US from a clean slate, guided by a concrete roadmap. I hope this meeting will contribute to that. We are fully ready for this. The rest will depend on the American position,” the Prime Minister said.
