PM Kobakhidze: UAE investors highly reliable, Georgia trustworthy partner

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has said investors from the United Arab Emirates stand out for their high level of reliability, adding that Georgia, in turn, is a trustworthy partner for them.

In an interview with Gulf Today held on the sidelines of the International Real Estate Forum, the Prime Minister said Georgia offers a strong environment for doing business, economic activity and investment, citing a sound economic policy, low tax rates and low levels of corruption.

According to Kobakhidze, these factors create excellent opportunities for conducting business in the country.

He highlighted the unprecedented-scale investment by Eagle Hills, valued at $6.6 billion, and noted that economic activity from the UAE has increased significantly.

“Among them, the most important is the largest investment by Eagle Hills, worth $6.6 billion. We welcome investors from the United Arab Emirates. All of them stand out for their high degree of reliability, and I believe that we are also reliable partners for them,” Kobakhidze said.
