Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Saturday cast his vote in the local government elections, stating that his choice reflects support for peace, progress, and development for the country and the capital.

Speaking at the polling station, Kobakhidze said he voted for the party he believes has maintained peace and brought advancement and development to Georgia over the years.

“I cast my vote for peace, for more good, and for further development of our country and our capital. I voted for the only party that has preserved peace in our country and delivered progress and growth throughout these years. I also supported the mayoral candidate capable of bringing greater benefits to our capital and a highly qualified majoritarian candidate in the Vake district,” Kobakhidze said.
