Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze held a one-on-one meeting with the President of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, as part of the Croatian leader’s official visit to Georgia.

The two sides discussed the existing close partnership between Georgia and Croatia, as well as prospects for expanding future cooperation. The talks focused on strengthening bilateral relations across multiple areas of mutual interest, the government press office said. 

Particular attention was paid to the positive dynamics in trade relations between the two countries and opportunities to further deepen economic ties. The sides reviewed avenues for enhancing commercial cooperation and promoting increased bilateral exchange.

In addition, Kobakhidze and Milanović discussed prospects for sectoral cooperation, including in tourism, culture, and people-to-people relations, highlighting the importance of fostering closer societal and institutional links between Georgia and Croatia.
