Georgian PM Irakli Kobakhidze on Monday said he is attending the European Political Community summit for the fifth time, using the platform to address European leaders and advance Georgia’s role as a regional connector.
Speaking in Armenia, where the summit is being held, the PM said he would take part in a roundtable discussion and hold bilateral meetings with European counterparts.
Kobakhidze said Georgia plays a “special role” in the South Caucasus, linking seven countries to the Black Sea and, by extension, to Western markets.
He added that discussions at the summit would focus on economic and trade connectivity, underlining Georgia’s strategic importance as a transit route between the region and Europe.
