Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia remained ready for fact-based dialogue regarding its relationship with the European Union

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has claimed that, according to all factual reports, rankings, and indices, Georgia was a leading country - not only among candidate countries but also ahead of some EU member states and G7 countries.

Speaking at a briefing at the Government Administration on Friday, Kobakhidze emphasized that Georgia remained ready for fact-based dialogue regarding its relationship with the European Union.

“Whenever research is based on facts, Georgia is at the forefront. Beyond that, however, political interests and double standards emerge, which we see expressed by certain politicians and bureaucrats, including European ones. We therefore call on everyone to engage in fact-based dialogue regarding Georgia. At this stage, we have not seen reciprocal steps, but we remain in a constant state of readiness for such dialogue, particularly regarding Georgia-EU relations,” Kobakhidze said.
