Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is set to participate in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum in Baku, organised in partnership with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-Habitat.

Kobakhidze will deliver a speech during the summit and is also scheduled to meet Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The forum will bring together representatives from more than 180 countries, including heads of state, business leaders, urban planners and property developers, to discuss solutions to the global housing crisis linked to climate change and conflicts.

Organisers say the discussions will focus on sustainable and inclusive urban development as a key element in addressing growing housing challenges worldwide.

Kobakhidze travelled to Baku with a Georgian delegation that includes Vice Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili, Economy Minister Mariam Kvrivishvili, Interior Minister Sulkhan Tamazashvili and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
